Bawah’s BBQ nights at the Boathouse - themed “A taste of the Anambas” or “ Seafood favourites” - take place Bakar-bakaran di Bawah purnama, meaning “BBQ under a full moon”. Watch the sunset as you sip on delicious cocktails and explore the exotic flavours of local delicacies. Try nasi goreng sotong, Indonesian fried rice with spicy chilli paste, prawns, squid, egg, kecap, coriander, galangal and green onion. Or savour sate lilit, minced fish with spice paste, chilli, ginger, shallots and lime leaves on lemongrass skewers, served with sambal ijo, a green chilli sauce.

Let us help you tick off several more of these Top 20:

Stay in Singapore before heading to Bawah, and see a famous landmark like the classic Raffles Hotel or the iconic Marina Bay Sands, the world’s most Instagrammed hotel. Then tick something off your bucket list with a thrilling seaplane takeoff and landing at beautiful Bawah Reserve’s idyllic lagoon.

While you’re here, you can do something that takes you out of your comfort zone, like learning to dive at the Bawah Reserve PADI dive centre. Or climb a mountain - in the heart of our wilderness you’ll encounter the primary jungle,  a rich ecosystem teeming with animals in their natural habitat. Follow one of our three trails, otherwise, take a detour or get lost, only to find an amazing view or a deserted beach. Bawah has several magnificent lookouts, perfect for being proposed to. Finally, grab a selfie of that holiday romance kiss and then take a swim in the sea to cool down.
